Today I was in a paint store and bought some light green masking
tape, called painter's tape. It is thinner, stickier and stronger
than regular tan colored masking tape.

It occurred to me that it may be great for etching because its'
specifically for critical surfaces. This may be an ideal product to
mask the back of a piece, or,, because it is so strong, be cut like a
    stencil.

My question; Has anyone tried this product? If so, how did it
    work?

Or, have you tried the blue tape?

Thanks in advance..
Frif
