    I might make a tiny plug for myself here... I've been engraving for
    just a little over 30 years now, and I am offering workshops from
    basic to advanced platinum/gold/silver inlay. Using traditional hand
    gravers, hammer & chisel, and now converting all benches to the
    Lindsay Airgraver systems for those who prefer power assisted tools.
    

    These workshops are INTENSIVE!  10 hour days. They are not designed
    to make you a professional engraver over a weeks time - but will
    give you a very very strong foundation for whichever of the
    specialties within the engraving field you choose. 

    No one can teach you to be a competent hand engraver in the limited
    time (5 or 6 days) we have for a modern day workshop. You have to
    practice until you reach the next level, and then keep returning as
    you advance over the years.
