[Jewelry making - Article 00031] - [Orchid] Estate jewelry advice

Hi All,

    My brother-in-law is trying to settle an estate which includes maybe
    7 or 8 pieces of good stuff.  I haven't seen it so can't tell you
    anything about it but he lives in between New York and Philadelphia
    and the jewelry is currently in Tucson.  Does anyone either buy
    estate jewelry or know of someone in any of those cities that they
    could recommend?  Would you recommend that he get an independant
    appraisal before trying to sell it?  Any and all advice accepted
    with gratitude.
