    To clamp parts to  one of the perforated hard surface blocks make
    bunch of little clips of Nichrome or stainless  steel wire. " L"
    shaped    about 1/2 " on the short arm and 1" on the long arm   bent
    so the angle is a bit less than 90 degrees. Place short arm in hole.
    The long arm will hold work in place on the block . Use as many as
    you need-- an oxidized surface keeps solder from sticking. They work
    until lost. jesse
