    I'm not sure, but I'd bet that the thread on the screw is a standard
    right hand, 1/4"-20 thread (most faceting machines use this size).
    This size is available at most hardware stores. You might check to
    see if you can find a thumb screw about 1/2" long in that size. You
    may also have to put a flat washer under the thumbscrew.
