Hello All: According to a chart in the Hoover and Strong catalog you
should water quench from red heat flasks that contain 14K pink and
peach and 18K pink and peach. You should air cool to "black heat"
and then water quench flasks that contain 10K yellow and white, 14K
yellow and royal yellow and white and paladium white, 18K yellow and
white and paladium white. All other metals it doesn't matter.
