    Hi glen. I discovered the radial sanding discs a few months ago and
    they suit me so well. I used to use a brass brush, donning protective
    gear and still ended up picking bits of brass out of my hair and
    clothing for days after. My hands are a bit arthritic and I like
    anything which takes off the pressure a bit. I find the pink (fine)
    disc produces a nice soft brushed finish but I tend to use the red
    (medium) disc more for sanding small pieces. I like the coarser
    finish, But that's my preference. You need to experiment with them.
    There is a super fine which I have not yet tried. I get mine from
    Cooksons in the UK where thy cost under =A33 each. cheers, Ruth.
