    I have only needed to use beaded wire once & it happened to be
    custom piece in all 14k.  Like you, I looked into several different
    catalogs but no luck.  After talking to many friends, I was told to
    try a company called Myron Toback Inc.  I ordered either 1mm or
    1.5mm beaded wire (can't remember which) and was very pleased in
    quality.  I don't know if they carry it in 18k or not,  I have never
