    Clay for wax castings

Have You considered using Jett Sett ? I had purchased another pound
to use as a mold. Place the Jett Sett into a jar cap of the right
dimension (heat the stuff in 180 degree water ) Then place into a jar
or cap of metal. Press the original model into the Jett Sett and let
    it cool.

You can pour hot wax into the mold or use some wax sheet or boxing
wax . Let the hot wax cool completely before removing it. It does not
take a lot and a pound goes a long way. I have purchased the Jett
Sett from either Rio Grande, or Swest .
