    There is nothing so fast in roughing out a wax shape as the spiral
    saw blade. Of course you sacrifice some wax due to the coarseness of
    the cut, but wax is cheap. And, the edges you are left with are also
    coarse. However, I never try to get a fine, and finally edge with a
    saw. I always carve/ scrape my details. I have not tried a skip
    tooth saw blade yet, but will do so in the future.
