[Jewelry making - Article 00451] - [Orchid] Quality stamps and exporting

    After searching through the archives, I have to ask: does anyone
    know the laws of other countries regarding the importing of jewelry
    with only a designer's trademark stamp and no metal-quality stamp?
    (I'm assuming that since each country is different, that if I sold
    something to be shipped out of the U.S. that I'd be better off not
    putting a metal-quality stamp on at all.) --Alan Goldin
