========[ Invite a Friend - http://www.ganoksin.com/invite.htm ]======== Like Karen Goeller, I strongly prefer a separate soldering area. Not only do I have to move around more, but I like an immaculate soldering area, and tend to have a messy bench. I've been known to set the bench on fire when soldering at it, so a non-wooden soldering area is safer. I also like to work at a height about halfway between table high and normal bench high. That way, I can look down on a piece and get a better view without standing up over and over.
