    find a more competent refiner.  Virtually any decent firm of any
    real size and capability will take polishing dusts, and give you a
    proper return on it. Note that the returns are less than for higher
    grade metallic waste, like bench filings, etc, but it's still quite
    decent.  My boss sends ours to Glines and Rhodes.  Others I've dealt
    with include David H. Fell, and United precious metals.   There's
    plenty more refiners besides those.  Glines and Rhodes even supplies
    the shipping containers and arranges for shipment pickups. 

    As to doing yourself, refining low grade wastes is no where near as
    easy as refining the high grade stuff, and even that isn't totally
    simple.  I'd suggest just letting your fingers do the walking.  Doing
    it yourself would likely cost you more, and yeild lower returns than
    sending it to a firm experienced in such waste.  It sounds like
    you've got quite a bit, so the potential loss from doing it yourself
    might be quite significant...
