    Hi Danny, While I can't be sure of they type or coarseness of the
    pumice powder you used in school, I can pick it up locally at any
    True-Value hardware store. It is usually found in the area of
    painting supplies. I suspect any full service hardware store will
    have something. Whether or not it meets your expectations for pumice
    is another matter...
