    Excuse me if I missed it,but I haven't seen any one respond to the
    procedure of 'carbon torching' a ingot mold before using. This
    imployes an extreme reducing flame if not just straight  fuel.
    Aceytelene produces the most carbon,...holding the mold upside down
    and using flame to 'coat inside of ingotmold' with carbon. Heating
    with a hotter flame before or afterwards will assure no moisture is
    present, and makes for a better pour, as mold is not cold. Thomas
