    My daughter showed me an idea that may work in your situation. It
    was a screen made out of fabric and 1/2" beadboard (insulation
    board). The fabric had 'sleeves' or 'pockets' sewn, in which to
    insert the foamboard. It was 3 panels, with each panel rounded on
    top, with the two side pieces in a lower graduated height. It was
    kept upright simply by setting it up, with the end panels set at a
    slight angle. The bottom was stapled to the foamboard for neatness.
    If made out of washable fabric, the beadboard can be removed for
    laundering. I don't see why this can't be extended to more panels.
    It's simple and lightweight. Hum-m-m, jewelry could be T-pinned right
    to the panels.
