    The community arts center here (Irvine, CA) has Jewelry Open Studio
    time and charges these fees: Per Hour:  $8 (city resident)/$10
    (non-resident) 

	5 use punch card:  $45/$35
	10 use punch card  $79/65

    When you register as a student in one of the jewelry classes, you
    receive a 5 use punch card. 

    The studio is open various hours - you can call for a schedule and
    it "staffed" by volunteers.  It seems to work very well.  Hope this
    helps.
