    I have to agree with Marylyn.  Form Emphasis for Metalsmiths by
    Heikki Seppa is a great book about hammering metal.  It was published
    by Kent University Press in the late 70s or very early 80s. 

    Probably not very expensive either.  Nothing fancy - line drawings
    and a positive, can do attitude.
