[Jewelry making - Article 00252] - [Orchid] Sizing hollow bracelet

Dear Orchidians,

    I have a friend who was given a bracelet which is one of those
    hollow, flat back, domed top,  types but it is a little too tight on
    her arm. The bracelet is round and if it can be changed to a bit of
    an oval it will fit better. Can this be done?  Also the bracelet is
    finished with a niello finish, which may make changing the shape
    impossible.
