    Hi Linda! I don't use that particular flux but... That doesn't sound
    right to me!

    Go with your instincts! Don't use the flux until you contact the
    company you purchased it from! Make sure nothing is wrong with it,
    and nothing has contaminated it before you continue working with it!
    I always question changes in products! It never hurts to ask a
    question!

    I would be concerned and would want to know why there was a
    difference in the product before I used any more of it!!!! I would
    probably send it back, speak to a technical support person at the
    company, and get a new container of the flux. Good Luck!
