Last week I opened a new container of Dandix flux, and was surprised
at the pale, creamy yellow appearance, rather than the usual white
color. (My first reaction was that if it were a food product, I
would wonder if it were spoiled.)

When I am using it, there seems to be quite a bit of burn-off, very
visible rising "smoking" trails. In addition, when I'm finished and
take off my mask, there seems to be a lingering strong odor--acrid?,
metallic? Can't quite put my finger on the right word.

Has anyone else gotten some of this batch? I'm beginning to be
concerned about continuing to use it. Any ideas?

Many thanks.
Linda Sorensen
