    Hi Jerry, Some of us older guys will remember Gilbert Albert, a
    jeweller in Geneva, who created some amazingly lateral designs using
    iridescent beetles' wings covers as a feature of his work in the
    sixties. He also used tektites. His pieces were quite beautiful and
    he won a Diamonds International Award for them. I saw some of his
    pieces at that time, and was surprised both by the beauty and the
    durability of the the beetle carapaces that he was using. Kind
