i am a pen maker, wishing to work with abalone, i am wondering if
there is a way to skin off layers of abalone ? or how do they make
sheets of abalone ? i love working with abalone, mostly i use dots or
strips. can you help me?

have a lot of customers using this veneer for inlay in jewelry,
string instrument and gift item manufacture. Very nice
materials,Large variety of Abalone, colorful Paua and others. It can
be lasered, cut on a CNC Mill or with a jewelers saw, if you don’t
have access to the tech. Check them out.

The laminated sheets are made by slicing the shell and then
laminating on to a backing and sealing with a lacquer. Check out
