Hello All, I've never beveled the edge of sheet metal before, and
while I could just go at it blind I noticed that in Sylvia Wicks'
_Jewelry Making Manual_ she mentions marking the bevel first and
shows a picture of dividers held alongside the metal's edge. I'm not
quite sure what it is one is meant to measure, nor how that is used
when actually filing or sawing the bevel...can anyone out there tell
me? I checked the archives but no luck.

    Thanks so much!

Jessica in SF, where something is blooming that's making me sneeze
