    I researched a number of accounting software packages before I
    settled on MYOB because of it's inventory capabilities.  This
    selection was done a few years back, and I don't know if I would
    make the same choice today.  It dose seem though that MYOB and
    QuickBooks would be the top two choices.  I rejected QuickBooks
    because of its lack of a usable inventory module. The MYOB has a
    very good inventory module that is useful for manufacturing as you
    can do sub inventory control, ie it tracks the parts needed to build
    an item.  QuickBooks has improved since I looked at it and you might
    want to give it a look, however their description of the inventory
    feature on their site leaves me to believe it still lacks the depth
    needed for jewelry manufacturing and sales.
