    Hello Nancy, 	I'm a little spacey due to a bad case of poison ivy -
    drowsy, anti- itch drugs, etc.  :-(  Anyway, You'll like your GemOro.
     I've used mine for several years - albiet intermittently - and have
    had good service.  Just so you know, as I think we may have the same
    unit, the heat will only work WHILE the unit is "sonicing." 
    Therefore you will need to either preheat your cleaning solution in
    the microwave, or turn on the sonic ahead of the time you will use
    it.  It heats fairly quickly - 20 min. 	Also do get the ultrasonic
    "guidebook" that Ken Katosi from Montana posted to Orchid (am I
    correct here Ken?).  You can download it and print it off.  VERY
    useful. 	Have fun with your new toy... I hope this made sense. Judy in
