    All, in the new Rio Grande catalog, note the latest PMC gear (they
    don't supply the other clay) and you'll see the special torch for
    curing.  It doesn't seem logical that  using one would produce the
    same effect that a lengthy bake, in stages, in a kiln, cushioned in
    alumina, would do.  But, I'm no expert - just interested in the
    stuff enough to see possibilities. Pat
