Threading ear studs

Greetings all on orchid I have a question on threading ear studs. all
the time I’ve been working with threaded ear studs I’ve used a fine
thread. One of my clients has asked for a coarse thread as the fine
thread takes too long to put on. how do you make coarse threads on
ear studs? The posts are 1.1mm thick on average.

I believe the threads are called jewelers or watchmakers threads.One
is course and one is fine, Check otto frie ,there is some info on
threading in the tool cataloque.
