Susan,

    Thanks for bringing this very important issue to the forefront of
    discussion.  As a gallery owner, I relied on another store's model
    contract.  We haven't had any problems as yet, but wish to hear other
    people's concerns.  Additionally, we are also metalsmiths who have
    consignment work in other galleries.  We treat our artists in the
    manner in which we would like to be treated.  I am happy to say that
    our artists get paid on time, every month.
