I appreciate all of the advice on benches and chairs. I do find
that sawing is much easier when the work is near shoulder level.
As for the "furniture", I'm so short that only my toes touch the
floor in most chairs. I will need to make a variety of
adjustments to get a work station that fits me. At least it will
be private. Nobody else will fit comfortably !
