I explore issues of body and dress and investigate the relationship of adomment to the body. The invisible space between the wearer and the object being worn is the basis for my approach. I explore notions of wearavility and aim at confronting the viewer about their own ideas of adorning. When we put something on our bodies it is usually intended to satisfy our needs but also it serves as an outward projector to the world that surrounds us. The human body is an endless site to build off of because physically, psychologically, and visually it can have complex encounters. Through my adornment pieces I bring attention to particular places on the body where impact or illusion occurs.
