Hi, thanks for sharing this video, I'll try to make my
own earrings nuts, and the brass mold is a good tip
too. Do you also make lobster clasps? there is a
video where I can watch it? thanks Erika
To jenlane Everytime when I have to make some
item I will use later again, I try to make a pattern ,
using a brass sheet , .8-1mm thickness , not annealed .
i am using a sawing needle to make the contour and the
sawframe to cut out .For the lobsters I cut an original
silver lobster in half and then I traced the contour of
it on the brass..For other designs , I am drawing
directly on the brass sheet . It is very harassing to
make calculations every time you need to make a common
article , so the patterns are very good. I can keep the
standards of the weight in this way, too ...You can
watch my "Hip-Hop chain " to see there how patterns
I've had made helped me to make that complicate chain.
The patterns are unique for everyone, and are used in
different ways and combinations .
I noticed you have a lot of patterns made for your
finding is the any way you can send me a paper tracing
of some of your finding like that lobster clasp and any
others you might have so i can make my own patterns.
never would have thought of that till i saw this. love
your videos keep them coming i learn somthing new all
the time email me back if you want to send me some
tracings thanks jen
