From a pile of one-way plane tickets; illegible visa stamps; exhausting buses rides; and a relentless procession of close calls - I inherited an unwieldy assemblage of boxes - boxes of negatives, contact sheets, and photographs. This brief gallery contains a casual selection of those photographs. The selection contained in this gallery contains only material from Thailand and Laos. They are not the expected photos of temples and seascapes - they are portraits of people’s lives; of places that most photographers would have passed over; of situations that I have had to brood over for years.
